Idle Spur Alpacas welcomes Jazmine's Diego

Monday, November 8, 2010 · we'll be traving again...: We will be travling up to Tahoe Breeze Alpacas again to vist with Jazmine and Diego. Can't wait to see them again. Do you recall my last post when I told you that Diego was snow white, well not any more. He is getting his daddy's coloring. Diego's blank is showing a very light faun coloring now, checkout the gallery photos and you can see the color change click here. It's amazing what time can do. Friday, July 30, 2010 · Welcome Diego!: Wow! The bigest day in our alpaca history just happened... Jazmine gave birth to our first cria, Diego. This was Jazmine's first cria also and she had just a liitle trouble with the birth. Diego's front legs got a little tangled but with the fast expert help of Mike and Kathy Hall Diego made into the world with no further trouble. He is prancing around like he owns the place. We were all a little taken-a-back when joinded us, he is snow white. We thought he would have had some color, although his grand father is white too. Well maybe in time he will change a bit.

Friday, June 11, 2010: We traveled to Gardenerville, Nv. and Tahoe Breeze Alpacas for sharing day. The trip was another pleasent one as we drove up Hwy 395. The weather was beautiful and warm and all the fellow traveler seemed to be in good moods as well. Sharing morning found us among old friends and alot of news folk too. Wednesday, July 01, 2009 · Jazmine is pregnant!: Well the day we have been waiting for finally got here. We bred Jazmin to Dominique's Domingo. Domingo is a white Huacaya alpaca with a fantastic demeanor and loves to be around people. He also has the densest fleece I have every seen.

Monday, June 15, 2009: Last weekend was our first shearing day. Boy, we had alot of fun Saturday and Sunday helping the shearing team with Jazmin and the other Alpacas at Tahoe Breeze. Check out the rest of the story a few of the pictures here...
